Troop 570 Service Project – Feed My Starving Children

Assistant Scoutmaster Mrs. Bush has set up a service project opportunity for Troop 570 with “Feed My Starving Children” located in Libertyville, IL. It is a 2 hour session where the scouts and their families prepare dried food packets foe children in third world countries. There is no cost to participate, just your time. The date of this event is Monday June 4th at 6pm. Scouts and their families are welcome (great for students who need service hours for high school or NHS, etc.) We need to preregister for this event and spots fill up quickly. Please sign up by Monday April 30th. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Bush or Mrs. Knick.

Gateway District Spring Camporee

The Gateway District Spring Camporee is May 18th – 20th at Simmons Island.  The theme:  Shipwrecked on Simmons Island.  Activities include:  raft building, archery, signaling, fire building, cook-off, sea shanties, tomahawks, bonfires and more! Checkout the camping page for more info and to sign up by May 11th.

April Campout

The April Campout will be at Bong State Recreation area near Kansasville starting the evening of Friday April 27th and concluding Sunday April 29th. We will be departing from the Gander Mountain parking lot at 5:30. All vehicles going will need a Wisconsin State Park sticker, available for purchase onsite.
