The Troop’s 6th Annual Valentine’s Day Lasagne Dinner sale is up and running! Let your friendly, neighborhood Scouts take all the stress out of cooking a delicious meal for your special someone this year. We prepare a generous pan of lasagne, bake Valentine brownies, pack garlic bread and a salad for you. All you have to do is turn on the oven and set the timer!

We offer traditional sausage lasagne or vegetarian lasagne, in glutenful and gluten-friendly options. Feeling extra generous this year? Buy dinner for a Vet and we’ll make sure our local heroes have a Valentine’s feast, too!

And best of all, your order goes to help Scouts earn their way to summer camp and other amazing adventures!

Thank you so much to Coach Ken Bozych from the LakeView mountain bike team for coming in to teach our troop all about biking! He took us through the safety precautions and was even able to tell us how to change a bike tire. Cycling is an Eagle required merit badge that is super fun. If you are feeling extra ambitious, look at a map to find all of the bike paths that connect Milwaukee to Chicago. As an extra challenge, try to figure out how many miles it would take (100 miles= a century ride in biker language). Hopefully you checked out the biking adventure on Saturday, May 17th to put together everything you have learned into practice. If you are interested in joining the LakeView Mountain Bike team talk to one of our troop leaders. Our local garden store, Anton’s Greenhouse, has been an avid supporter of our local scouting programs. They have stepped up to help our Scouts sell flowers and vegetables to raise money to help pay for things like summer camp, activities, and supplies. We especially love this sale because it really does help make our community beautiful to have so many flower beds and hanging baskets in yards. We also love it because it is so easy for everybody to support our Scouts’ success by buying something that you would normally buy, at a close-to-normal price.

Here’s how you can help:

1. Go to the store page BEFORE NOON on APRIL 28, and select the plants you would like.

2. If you know a Troop 1865 Scout, add his or her name in the “Scout’s Name” field so they can get credit for the sale. If you don’t have a specific Scout in mind, the proceeds from your order will go to our program budget and will be used to support all of the great adventures we do together.

3. Finish placing your order on our secure checkout page.

4. You must print out the emailed receipt to bring to Anton’s. The Anton’s team will only accept a paper print of your receipt to attach to their records.

5. Starting May 1, you get to go to Anton’s with your printed receipt and pick out your favorite color flowers or vegetable varieties!
