The spring campout will take place May 10-12 at Indian Mound Scout Reservation in Oconomowoc. More info and a sign up sheet will be coming soon!
Before you know it, it will be time to start planning for summer camp at Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan Scout Reservation, July 28th-August 3rd. The camp website has been updated so you can see which merit badge programs are being offered this year, as well as other camp info.
Below is the link to the sign up sheet for the Klondike Derby on Saturday, January 19th. Please sign up by Dec. 31st, but sooner would be better for planning purposes. If you have any questions, please let Mrs.Knick know. Thanks!
On Saturday December 15 at 9AM Three Harbors scouts, families, and friends will be placing wreaths on the graves of Fallen Heroes at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI.
The Gateway District Troop Expo will be held November 1st at St Mary’s Catholic Church
7307 40th Ave. Plan to arrive by 6:30 to setup.
The Scare weekend event for our troop was canceled. We thought it would be a good idea for the scouts to attend the event as an attendee to see what it’s like from that perspective and get ideas for next year. Not to mention, if would just be fun! If you and your scout would like to go Friday night, please let Mrs. Knick know by Wednesday the 24th at noon. The cost is $5 per person, $7 at the door.
September 28th – 30th is the Devil’s Lake 55th Anniversary Hike. This a large event that draws Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the general public to beautiful Devil’s Lake State Park to camp and hike for the weekend. After you have hiked a few miles Saturday night, there will be a dance for the scouts/kids. Below is a link to our troop sign up form. Families are welcome. The cost is $22 per person and we want to have our registration in early to get the best possible camp site. Please sign up by August 1st.
Assistant Scoutmaster Mrs. Bush has set up a service project opportunity for Troop 570 with “Feed My Starving Children” located in Libertyville, IL. It is a 2 hour session where the scouts and their families prepare dried food packets foe children in third world countries. There is no cost to participate, just your time. The date of this event is Monday June 4th at 6pm. Scouts and their families are welcome (great for students who need service hours for high school or NHS, etc.) We need to preregister for this event and spots fill up quickly. Please sign up by Monday April 30th. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Bush or Mrs. Knick.
The April Campout will be at Bong State Recreation area near Kansasville starting the evening of Friday April 27th and concluding Sunday April 29th. We will be departing from the Gander Mountain parking lot at 5:30. All vehicles going will need a Wisconsin State Park sticker, available for purchase onsite.
